Group 2 Notification Issuance of Group-2 notification is in the hands of the State Government and the State Public Service Commission. Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission releases group to notification frequently. According to the data we have, notifications were issued in 1989, 1991, 1993, 2000 (twice), 2001, 2002, 2003 (twice), 2005, 2008, 2011, 2016, 2019. Looking at this data, the notification was issued once every two years on average.
The latest notification was released in 2018. Let's take a look at that notification.
This notification was released on December 31, 2018. A total of 446 posts have been released including 16 executive posts and 94 non-executive posts in carry forward vacancies and 138 executive posts and 198 non-executive posts in fresh vacancies. In this notification, for the first time, the same syllabus has been kept for the preliminary examination and the mains examination. And 1/3rd of the negative marks are prescribed. Group 2 notification December, 2018
2018 notification exams and results 2019. And then in March 2020 the notification got delayed due to administrative disarray due to the advent of Covid and other political and economic factors of the state. So far (04 August 2022) Group 2 notification has not been released.
Last month (July) APPSC Chairman Gautam Sawang said in a statement that preparations are being made to release the Group 2 exam notification in August next month.
There are definitely chances that the Group 2 notification will be released this year (2022).
There is a possibility that there will be more posts in the notifications to be released after this gap of three years. You should make good use of this opportunity and study for group 2 job and work hard to get a job with a good rank.
